Margaret Hamilton was appointed to the Chino Basin Water Conservation District (CBWCD) Board on January 9, 2012. Ms. Hamilton has been an Ontario resident for over 40 years. She is a retired school teacher having taught at Ontario Christian School, Chino Valley Unified School District, and the Department of Defense – overseas on military bases in England and Japan.
She has been active in the community serving as a neighborhood watch captain with her husband, collecting funds for the American Heart Association, and serving on the board for the Ontario Christian Schools. Ms. Hamilton is also active with her church by serving on several committees. She has been married to her husband Bob for 41 years. They have two married daughters, one living in Visalia, California, and the other in Sioux Center, Iowa. They also have seven adorable grandchildren. In her spare time, she and her husband like to garden, travel, and read. She has been active in the recycling programs of Ontario and is interested in water conservation and educating the future generations.
