What is recycled water and where does it come from?
The water that flows to residential and commercial indoor plumbing (sinks, toilets, and other drains) flows to a local wastewater treatment plant where it is treated and purified and used again for outdoor irrigation or industrial purposes. Although recycled water looks just like potable (drinking) water, it is not be used for human consumption.
